Some of their stuff was rubbish. Some of their TV appearances utterly embarrassing. Take The legend of Xanadu. The singer used to bring a whip and use it onstage.&lt;br /&gt;But I can't help liking &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;The legend of Xanadu&lt;/span&gt;, whips and all.  An excellent pop song. You cannot say the same of all their repertoire, but they had some good moments. One big hit for Dave Dee &amp;amp; Company.
